Fluent in four languages including Spanish, English, French and German, and skilled in international negotiation, Pedro Erice thrives in diverse cultural settings and has a proven track record of success. Notably, he led the team that made the Algerian branch of Isolux Corsan grow from €50M to €320M, embodying his philosophy to “think global, act local and be unique.”
Erice’s academic background includes a degree in International Business Law from Universdad San Pablo-CEU, an Executive MBA and the completion of the Senior Management Program in Business Administration and Management, both from IE Business School.
Throughout his career, Erice has worked in numerous roles at various companies, including area, regional and international managing director, adjunct professor and independent consultant. His expertise has crossed international borders, such as the Mediterranean, MENA and the EU.
Currently, he specialises in business consulting for the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors, using his experience in international business strategy, project management and negotiation to provide top-tier services for his clients.

Vivento, Personnel Relocation
Detecon International GmbH
Between April 2000 and December 2001, Pedro Erice played a pivotal role in creating the company Vivento to effectively relocate excess personnel from Deutsche Telekom, Germany’s largest personnel services company. After conducting a thorough business review of their personnel services, he spearheaded repositioning public employees whose roles became redundant due to new processes and technologies that were implemented. This strategic initiative involved creating niche companies that leveraged the specific expertise of the personnel. Notably, Erice’s leadership and expertise led to the successful relocation of approximately 96% of redundant employees. His innovative approach ensured a smooth transition and maximised the value of the workforce.

Since January of 2011, Pedro Erice conducted a comprehensive review of the strategic implications of company changes in Isolux Corsan’s North African location. He addressed the challenges and opportunities presented by the business environment, legal changes, risk management and modifications to power structures. Through this thorough analysis, he provided crucial insights and strategic direction, empowering the company to navigate and thrive amidst the evolving landscape in the region. Starting in January of 2012, Pedro Erice managed a dynamic team that propelled Isolux Corsan’s 2013 sales from €50M to €320M. He skillfully managed the Isolux Corsan Algerian subsidiary, fostering key partnerships and engaging with public administration. His business development efforts led to landing significant tenders, including projects for wastewater treatment plants, the Mostaganem tramway, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Zeralda Naval Command Center.

Since September 2014, Pedro Erice has been an esteemed adjunct professor at ESCP Europe’s internationally triple-accredited business school. Under Pedro Erice’s direction, since January of 2017, a medium sized Spanish company attained the contract for the Facility Management Plan for Lusail Stadium, one of the biggest stadiums used during the World Cup. In coordination with the contracts for the audiovisual and safety systems, a small but top-tier team proved that innovations, trust and hard work are the keys for success.

In 2020, amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, Pedro Erice directed the Algerian subsidiary and formed part of a committee to future-proof the company’s corporate business model. In his current freelance position, Pedro Erice has played a pivotal role in the development and first implementation of the “Smart Territories” concept in Spain.
